Drive to the Office Comparison. Commute? No, Software
The chances are, if your job involves the use of an office suite, you will have used either Microsoft Office or Google Drive (formerly Google Docs), or both.
And, if you haven’t used either, you’ll almost certainly have heard of them.
Google Drive is a constantly iterating thing, with updates coming in small bites, rather than larger, one off updates, so it’s difficult to tie this suite down to a version.
Microsoft Office on the other hand, has been restricted to major updates (Office XP, Office 2007, Office 2010… you get the idea), and its latest offering, Office 365 (2013), is about to go up against Google Drive in the online space.
