Mind mapping, a learning and retaining technique in which a diagram is drawn to create a visual image of information that the brain is processing, has been controversial since its introduction in the 1950s.
While many hail it as a technique that can be useful from a very early age throughout adulthood, its detractors write it off as useless, childish, or both.

One of the many aspects I run into during implementation and/or post-implementation services my company provides is the learning curve everyone has not only for the new system to be implemented – or just implemented in the case of post-implementation service – but the learning curve to the technology in general.
During the 1980′s and 90′s this was normal as HRIS was evolving and going through a definition process.
Most companies did not know where to place the responsibility for the HRIS systems as it involved more than one department – for some companies’ payroll seemed logical while others it was HR and/or IT…
