The HRIS World Is Now Available Where???
Send to KindleWith our number of unique visitors sky rocketing during this year (from 2,000 to 10,000+ per month), we have been seeking ways to reach as many of you as possible in the means you use most frequently.
Our first step was to mobilize our site — provided by WordPress.com through their JetPack plugin. This makes our site viewable on smartphones and tablets.
We were surprised at how easy it was to be registered with them — and we were online with Amazon Kindle in less than 48 hours.
From our first views, we do see we have a few things to consider when formatting our posts and pages as Kindle strips any Javascript out of the display — as well as the Social Media buttons.
THAT is not sitting well with most of the bloggers that are on Amazon — it remains to be seen what Amazon will do as nothing is being shared in the publishing circles to what, if anything, will be done about this.
There is, however, a monthly fee of $0.99 – or 99 cents.
We are not going to get rich by no means — but we are going to provide the funds
So if you use Amazon’s Kindle or Amazon’s Fire, and you read this blog, then you do read this blog whenever you like, we guess. :-)
Currently, we are setup in the USA and we are working on getting our Amazon Associates tags with Canada, China, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Japan, and United Kingdom by the end of this month – or sooner.
If you have any suggestions — or are having any difficulties — with using and reading our blog on the Kindle, Fire, or even your smartphone and/or tablet, then let us know! We can’t be everywhere (yet) and test everything (yet) — but we’re working on it!
