Why an International VPN is a Great Idea
Send to KindleYesterday, a guest post by Lynn Black talked about The Benefits of Using an International VPN.
When we received her article, we already knew the value of having an international VPN as we use this ourselves.
We are located in both the USA and Brazil and sometimes the international boundaries creates some very interesting situations.
Sometimes the situation is personal, other times it is business-related.
While in the USA, no problem — but as any expat in any country can tell you, not once you are outside the USA.
Having an International VPN allows us to see films and documentaries our friends are talking about and continue a close relationship with them.
If you are or are going to be traveling internationally, being moved or have moved internationally, or are an expat of any country, you will appreciate the ability to remain connected with the sites and people you are now appreciate.
As for business, we are constantly needing to move data for international clients and sometimes the protocols just don’t co-operate.
So what does this have to do with Cloud computing? ERP Systems? HRIS? Project Management? Career Management?
Well, nothing — if you remain within the sovereignty you are in.
But once you have to reach outside that sovereignty, especially if you are working from home and your company doesn’t have a VPN setup for you, then you will definitely be needing the services of an international VPN.
Even if you are on Cloud computing, there are going to be moments where the value of an International VPN will more than pay for itself.
Check out Lynn’s article, and feel free to contact us if you have any questions or need recommendations.
