The HRIS World Newsletter August 2012
Send to KindleIn case you missed it, we have a listing of our more popular articles for July. We had a call for guest posts, and received more than 70 in less than a month!
There’s plenty for everybody and we are quite sure you will find something that will be new for you – or a review for you.
Be sure to let our guest bloggers know you have read their article and feel free to converse with them! An embedded email is in their bios and some even shared their twitter ID as well (which is embedded in the bio as well).
Initiated, But Not Yet Launched
Both the Research Network and Sigma Project Brasil have been started but we are holding off on any official notification of launching either, just yet. We need to have a lot more material in both of these blogs before making our formal announcement.
That does not mean they are treated any less than The HRIS World nor The HRIS Career World. The same level of professionalism in the blog as well as with the articles will be honored.
The HRIS World Research Network will start as a free membership — for now it is open to the public. Within then coming months, this area will require membership to gain access to the articles – which will be a free membership.
The HRIS World Research Network will eventually have a paid membership area with the works gained from Gartner, Forester, and our own members. Interviews, research, and articles will be available to the paid members. This area will require a Director or higher ranking within your company. For the independents, you will need to provide evidence of working with decision makers in your present and/or past assignments.
Sigma Projeto Brasil is focused on everything Project Management. Though focused for the country of Brazil, contributions are accepted from all countries. Brazil is going through an expansion that many envy, and is now the 6th largest global economy. France and Germany are the only 2 European countries

The HRIS World is always seeking articles for the discerning professional…
Our audience are HR, Payroll, Information, and Technology decision makers in businesses ranging from SMB’s to the Fortune 10. Their roles range from Supervisors to Directors to C-level executives.
The HRIS World focuses on technical, functional, management, and compliance in select IT industries…
✔ Cloud computing ✔ ERP ✔ HRIS ✔ HR Technology ✔ Project Management
We also focus on the people of these industries
✔ jobs ✔ recruiting ✔ career management
As we are read in 50+ countries, our audience can translate our blog into any one of the 83 languages available to them through GTS Translations.
We are seeking articles focused on the basic as well as advanced levels of any of these topics.
Minimum length of 500 words, long-term contributors are encouraged to contact us.
Our guidelines can be found here : http://bit.ly/GuestPostGuidelines
As we accept paid advertisements, the guidelines are for both the article as well as the bio. We will work with you to publish your article (We have only had to turn away 2 articles in the last 100+ we have received).
Videos, instagrams, PowerPoint Presentations are encouraged as well.
We are also officially launching a Research Network in October (it is open now but has not been publicly announced) — pillar content is needed for this section of the blog.
You can submit your article by email to webmaster@thehrisworld.com
We provide notifications at each step of the publication process – receipt, scheduling, and the publication of your article(s)…
We also work with you to hone your article to the level expected by our audience.
PLEASE NOTE…
Due to the level of professionalism expected by our audience, bios MUST contain a full name and an email address. No self-promotion or any form of advertising will be accepted in the bios as well. Again to the level of professionalism of our audience, these 3 points are non-negotiable.
Also, we highly encourage the use of a twitter ID in your bio as well — our social network kicks in the moment we publish. Your twitter ID will alert your followers using lists almost immediately once your article is published. As we broadcast your article to our followers for at least 2 months, this has proven to go a long way in exposing your article.
September Sabbatical
Well, September we will be taking a vacation, a sabbatical… No one will be here.
Actually, I will be taking a honeymoon! So why is the entire publication shutting down if only one of us is getting married? Well, there are two of us! And the other is getting married as well – to me!
We will schedule some of our older articles to be published automatically. The blog and emails will be reviewed once a week and anything important will be addressed promptly.
We will be back on the job late in the month – and will let everyone know then we are back at our desks. Just be patient — we promise a response before October arrives.
If you are submitting an article for publication, pleas have it emailed to us or submitted to our blog by Friday, 25-August. Anything arriving after that date will scheduled to be processed when we return in late September.
That covers everything for now – make it a great month!
